PEEF to host 13thBlackhawk Scramble

PORT EDWARDS – The Port Edwards Education Foundation is finalizing plans for the 13th edition of their annual golf outing, aptly named the Blackhawk Scramble. This year’s event is scheduled for June 17, at the Lake Arrowhead Golf Club Pines Course, 1195 Apache Ln., Nekoosa.

This annual event is held to raise funds that provide grants in the upcoming school year to “add an extra spark to the learning environment for the Port Edwards students.”Teachers in the district are given the opportunity to apply for grants to support equipment, activities, or educational events that would not otherwise be available to teachers and students.
