Peter Jennings New Wastewater Commission Chairman

Peter Jennings was voted as the new Wastewater Commission Chairman at Wednesday afternoon's meeting.

The vote was unanimous for the Jenning's & Co. owner, and his status as chairman will start immediately. Joe Terry, Director of Public Works, was originally offered the position, but turned it down. Even though there is no conflict of interest, as the commission is a citizens committee, Terry felt it best that someone not in government should take the role.

The Wastewater Treatment Commission meets the first Wednesday of every month in the Administration Building at 2540 1st St. South in Wisconsin Rapids.
