Free Cable: At 11:18 a.m. police were called for a report that two men had installed cable services for a resident at the 400 block of 11th Ave. North. who claimed the men told her the services were free. She called to complain after receiving the first bill. Unfortunately, nothing in life is free.
Road Decor: At 1:34 p.m. a complaint was made from the 3100 block of Gaynor Ave. concerning a deer carcass that had been by the driveway since November.
Puppy Thief: A call was made from a store on the 500 block of W. Grand Ave. to report that a puppy had been taken right from the business.
Wake & Bake: At 7:31 a.m. a report was made from the corner of Elm St. and Strodman Ave. regarding the alleged strong smell of marijuana coming from one of the residences.
Bank on It: A call was made regarding a man who left his vehicle stuck in a snow bank because "he didn't want to deal with it" -- the vehicle was hanging into the road in the area of Two Mile Ave.
Mailbox Bandit: At 12:10 a.m. a report was made from the 1000 block of 21st Ave. South regarding a set of mailboxes in the area that were knocked over.
