Police & Sheriff Calls for May 11

Trashed: At 11:38 a.m. a call was made from the 1500 block of 23rd Ave. South regarding her trashed apartment. Someone had reportedly trashed the residence and busted the cabinets.

Cell Thief: At 2:09 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 100 block of 2nd St. North regarding a theft. A man had let a woman borrow his cell phone to make a call, and she ran out the door with it, never to return.

Racing on W. Grand: At 8:28 p.m. a call was made from the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding two pick-up trucks racing. They were reported as two black dodges and had loud pipes.

Weird People: A call was made from a business on the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding "weird people" hanging out in the parking lot. Two of the four were in the women's bathroom for 40 minutes.
