Police Calls: January 29, 2025

On Jan. 16 at 1:46 in the afternoon a caller from Nekoosa described a black SUV sitting at a stop sign, however the car was unoccupied. 

On Jan. 17 at 8:47 in the morning a Pittsville caller described a semi-truck tipped over sideways in a ditch.

On Jan. 17 at 3:40 in the afternoon a caller from Marshfield reported tracks on their property belonging to individuals hunting on their property for coyotes. The caller stated they did not give permission for these individuals to hunt.

On Jan. 18 at 8:47 in the morning in Cranmoor a caller reported a vehicle that was flipped over in the water. 

On Jan. 18 at 1:32 in the afternoon a caller from Lincoln reported ice cream theft. An individual was caught on camera purchasing other items, but seen on video with ice cream in their pocket, not paid for. 

On Jan. 19 at 7:39 in the evening a caller from Pittsville reported a cell phone theft. The caller reported that their husband had his phone stolen at a bar and was able to track the phone’s location with the individual who took it. 

On Jan. 20 at 11;30 in the morning a Grand Rapids caller reported feeling threatened by their brother in law. The brother in law reportedly threatened the caller in 2022 and was acting suspicious to the caller. The caller reported the brother in law was making comments about what would happen if something harmed the caller. 

On Jan. 21 at 11:47 in the morning a Pittsville caller reported they were missing tools from their tool shed. Milwaukee Tool battery powered chainsaws were missing, only the chainsaws were missing and not the batteries. No other tools or property were reported missing. The caller noted their neighbor has a key to the tool shed and permission to use the tools.

On Jan. 21 at 7:35 in the evening a caller in Rudolph described that their neighbors must have fallen asleep as the neighbor’s dogs were running the halls. The caller stated they and their kids were afraid to go inside due to the dogs. 

On Jan. 22 at 3:00 in the morning a Wisconsin Rapids caller reported that a father had fallen asleep and the four year old daughter had left the house. The father was outside looking for her, she was believed to have left one hour prior to the call.
