Police & Sheriff Calls for Oct. 6-8

Chicken Hunting: At 10:18 a.m. a call was made from the 200 block of 12th Ave. North to report two stray dogs killing a chicken.

Pipe Vandals: A call was made to dispatch from the 2700 block of 12th St. South to inform them that someone had sprayed hair remover in their pipes.

Creepy Van: At 12:08 a.m. police were notified of a tan van driving slowly through the area of 12th Ave. North, and stopping in front of multiple houses.

Troublesome Tenant: At 1:22 a.m. a report was made from the 2700 block from 12th St. South to report that two men with a gun and a crossbow had been attempting to break into his home. A call was made later from the same residence to report that pictures on the wall were spraying him with acid.

Oct. 7

Lost & Found: At 3:42 p.m. a store on the 1100 block of E. Riverview Expressway reported finding a bag of weed in the entryway.

Plate Thieves: At 5:35 p.m. a theft of license plates was reported from a store on the 1500 block of 24th St. South.

Porch Nap: At 10:08 p.m. police were notified of a woman at a residence on the 400 block of 15th St. South was passed out on the porch.

Texting and Swerving: At 5:03 p.m. a complaint was made regarding a driver inn the area of 16th St. South who had been allegedly texting while driving, and swerving in the process.

Man in Black: At 10:04 p.m. a report was made of a man dressed all in black headed northbound on State Highway 13 by the Nepco Lake Bridge.

Cups: At 11:14 p.m. police were informed of a disruptive woman at a tavern on Eighth St. South who had been throwing cups and was reportedly "going nuts" in the parking lot.
