WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Port Edwards girls basketball hosted Bowler on Feb. 4 and took the loss, 56-44.
Port was down 30-14 at the half and powered back in the second half to cut some of the lead, but still fell short.
Top scorers for Port Edwards were Taylor Martin, with 20 points, and Dominique Griffith with 11.
Port Edwards moved to 1-16 overall; 1-8 in the Central Wisconsin South conference.
Next for Port Edwards is Feb. 6 game at Rosholt, followed by Tigerton on Feb. 11.
