ROME –Authorities in Adams County say a Portage County man is likely going to be charged with homicide by the intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
Investigators believe that Marcus Bosworth, 46, of Stevens Point was allegedly drunk when he wrecked his motorcycle while traveling at a high rate of speed in Rome.
Investigators say Bosworth was speeding along County Highway Z when he lost control on a curve and crashed into a guardrail.
A passenger, Shawnna Bosworth, 44, was ejected and suffered fatal injuries in the May 30 crash.
Marcus Bosworth is free on a $3,500 bond and is due back in court on July 7.
