WISCONSIN RAPIDS -- A Milwaukee area drug dealer faces felony charges after police found him with cocaine in his nose.
According to reports, on Nov. 23, police were walking the beat when they observed a vehicle parked on the 100 block of E. Jackson St., which is a no parking zone. After running plates, they identified the owner as 42-year-old Miles Olson.
Officers waited for Olson to exit a nearby tavern, and upon making contact observed a white, powdery substance believed to be cocaine in Olson's left and right nostrils. Olson informed police that he purchased the drug inside of the bar and used it in the bathroom.
After denying that he had anything on him, police patted down Olson and would find a plastic bag with a white, powdered substance. Also found on Olson was a large wad of cash, car keys and a cell phone.
The total amount of cash found was in the amount of $1,163, and total amount of cocaine found equaled 33.8 grams worth. Court records show that the defendant has had prior convictions of possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
If convicted, Olson faces up to 25 years imprisonment, and up to $100,000 in fines.
