WAUSAU -- After a shutout loss to Neenah last week, the Red Raiders answered in dominate fashion over the Lumberjacks of Wausau East, in a 62-7 blowout win.
Lincoln wouldn't allow a score from Wausau East until late in the third quarter, and with a 34-0 halftime lead, the game's victor was never in doubt. Six different Red Raiders would find the endzone on Friday night, with running back Isaac Pelot leading the way with over 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Jacob Mancl hit three separate targets for scores, finding Isaiah Westfall, Nash Coombs, and leading receiver on the night, Keegan Hewitt for touchdowns. Sam Wallner also found paydirt late in the fourth quarter from back-up quarterback Austin Hensley. Coombs also contributed with a rushing touchdown of his own late in the third.
This improves Lincoln to 3-2 on the year as they gear up for game three of their four game road trip next week at Marshfield.
