WISCONSIN RAPIDS -- All of us have been affected by cancer in some way. Some of us have battled this dreaded disease. Others know somebody who courageously fought the battle and now cherishes and celebrates every cancer-free birthday. Still, many others know all too well what it's like to lose a loved one to cancer
The Race Against Cancer was inspired by our employees who lost their battles with cancer.
The 8th annual Renaissance Race Against Cancer will be held onSaturday, June 9. The race will start and finish in front of Renaissance Learning, at 2911 Peach Street in the Woodlands Business Park. The race is professionally chip timed and will take place rain or shine. An on-course water stop and post-race refreshments will be provided.
Runners, walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers are also welcome. Please, no dogs, bikes, or rollerblades.
All proceeds provide funds directly to patients through the Patient Care Fund at Aspirus UW Cancer Center – Riverview.
