Road Construction Alert for 8th St. and Chestnut.

According to a press release the city will start road work at the intersection of 8th St. South and Chestnut St.

The work will add a dedicated left turn lane as a part of a safety enhancement project. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 3 and is slated to run to Oct. 24.

There are expected lane closures on 8th St. South under this process.
