ROME – The town of Rome community held a grand opening, July 13, to celebrate the opening of the Rome splash pad park.
The Legacy Foundation of Central Wisconsin donated $500,000 to design and build the splash pad – a zero depth water play area filled with spraying water features.
In conjunction with the splash pad project, Thrivent Financial and generous community members donated $17,500 for playground equipment.
The park is located in the Alpine Village Business Park on Climbers Pass between Geneva Trail andMatterhorn Trail.
