Rudolph toddler remains in ICU two weeks after crash

Posted

WOOD COUNTY – On Dec. 2, Kamie Pupols and her two children, Olivia (6) and Jack (15 months), were injured when a car slammed into their vehicle in Rudolph. While they all sustained multiple broken bones, 15-month-old Jack still resides in the ICU.
Jack was on the side of the vehicle that was directly impacted by the speeding pick up truck that hit the family’s car. Jack’s injuries include a cracked skull that led to brain swelling, which affected many other bodily functions. Jack is unable to breathe on his own or move the left side of his body.
Kamie suffered mutliple broken bones on the left side of her body and will be faced with months of therapy to regain the ability to walk.
Olivia suffered from a fractured skull and spent two nights in the ICU.
A GoFundMe has been set up by immediate family members to the Pupols family to raise money for the two helicoptors it took to transport Olivia and Jack to Marshfield Clinic, Kamie’s ambulance ride, medical treatment costs, and to renovate parts of the Pupols house in order to now make it disability accessiable in order for Kamie to return home.
The Pupols family is looking to raise $40,000 through their GoFundMe found at https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-kamie-and-jacks-road-to-recovery?cdn-cache=0
