Suspect arrested in Jimmy John's robbery

WISCONSIN RAPIDS -- On May 20, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department (WRPD) responded to the Jimmy John’s restaurant located at2020 8th Street Southin Wisconsin Rapids for a reported armed robbery.

After releasing surveillance footage, WRPD received information and executed a search warrant on a Seventh Street South residence.

Subsequently, Anthony C. Papalinski, 54, was taken into custody.

The WRPD is referring charges of armed robbery to the District Attorney’s Office
