SWC YMCA offers COVID-19 Emergency Services child care program

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The SWC YMCA facilities are temporarily closed to the general public, but organizers are pivoting resources to serve parents who must work to protect our community, including all essential workers.

“These families need safe and reliable places for their children and we want to support them with childcare services while they are working,” a release said.

The SWC YMCA COVID-19 Emergency Services Childcare program offers licensed childcare services for all essential workers.

At this time, the ages served are six weeks to 13 years of age; care will be offered 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday at the211 Wisconsin River Dr., Port Edwardslocation.

Families can register for as many days as they need; weekly attendance is not required.

“We are all working together to support those who are on the front line fighting this disease,” the release added.
