Terry Michael Collins, 61, Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Evangelical Free Church, 611 Cook Av., Wisconsin Rapids, with Pastor David Kurek officiating.
Terry was born on July 3, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, to Gordon Sr. and Constance (Dennis) Collins. In 1958 he moved to Wisconsin where he was cared for by his grandparents, Lloyd and Theresa Collins. He attended school in Pittsville, Nekoosa, and Dousman, graduating from high school in 1975. He was employed at Pre-Way in Wisconsin Rapids, from 1978 until it closed. He then worked at various places including 10 years at Del Monte in Plover.
Terry loved cars, looking at them and driving them fast. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, the outdoors, playing cards and shooting pool.
He is survived by his father, Gordon Collins Sr., his brother, Gordon (Connie) Collins Jr., his half-sister, Lynn (Jeff) Peterson, his half-brother, Shawn Collins, step-sister, Laurie Sedall, 4 nephews, Josh Reinert, James Sedall, Ben and Lucas Collins and 4 nieces Rebecca Borre’, Michelle Borre’, Tabitha (Borre’) Taub and Theresa Collins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Constance (Dennis) Collins, paternal grandparents, Lloyd Collins and Theresa (Kriplean) Collins, and step-mother, Dorothy (Hopp) Collins.
Terry loved people and enjoyed making people laugh. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
