For the City Times
On Friday, October 7, 2016 United Way of Inner Wisconsin will be asking local businesses and organizations to allow their employees to wear denim for the day, in exchange for a $5 donation to United Way of Inner Wisconsin.
“Community-Wide Denim Day is a way for any organization to participate in the United Way campaign,” said Tari Jahns, CEO. “If you have a workplace campaign, you can incorporate Denim Day in your activities. If you do not have a workplace campaign, here is a way to still share the United Way experience with your staff.” Community-Wide Denim Day started as a way for businesses and organizations with dress codes to offer a dress-down day for a good cause.
United Way makes it easy to spread the word that employees are dressed down for a reason. Businesses and organizations can order FREE casual day stickers for each participant to wear. United Way also makes Denim Day FUN! Give the office a call and a photographer will come and take a photo of each participating organization and post it on social media!
