WISCONSIN RAPIDS -- With Lincoln on a three-game winning streak, and Assumption on a two-game winning streak, the Raiders and Royals will look to continue their march towards a playoff appearance as the end of the season draws near.

Lincoln Hosts SPASH in Division Battle

The 5-2 first place Lincoln Red Raiders finally travel back home after a successful four-game road trip, and look to stay atop the Valley West Conference as they host SPASH on Friday night. Stevens Point is coming off a 35-0 route of D.C. Everest, and with a 4-4 record, (2-1 conference) the Panthers will hope to get past Lincoln on their home turf.

However, the red hot Lincoln offense will not make that easy for their opponents, as we've seen explosive play from tailback Nash Coombs over the past two games, as well as the expected consistent play of running back Isaac Pelot and quarterback Jake Mancl. Top ranked wideout Isaiah Westfall found paydirt three times last week, contributing to a scorching Red Raider offense that has put up 138 points in their last three games, and average around 36 points per game on the year.

Kickoff at SWC 2000 Field is set for 7:00 p.m.

Royals Host Blackhawks in Cloverwood Showdown

Assumption is fresh off of two straight wins, and look to keep the momentum going and move up the Cloverwood standings. They'll attempt to do it against an Owen-Withee team who is coming off a tough home loss against Abbotsford.

The Royals running attack has stepped up over the past two games, accumulating over 700 yards on the ground in the past two weeks. With Teddy Ashbeck, Cole Statz, and Craig Elsen, the Blackhawks will have their work cut out for them, as the 4-3 Royals will seek to hold their third place spot in the Cloverwood conference this week.

Kickoff at SWC 2000 Field will be on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.

Papermakers Face Off Against Spartans

With Nekoosa getting handed a tough defeat last week against Wautoma, the Papermakers will look to rebound against a 4-3 Laconia squad in a non-conference game. Nekoosa may be out of the running for a winning record this season, but they hope to finish strong on the road against the Spartans, before finishing their season at home against Adams-Friendship next week.

Nekoosa will lean on the consistent running of Dylan Bills and Trent Waltenburg, and quarterback Kyle Olson will be under center to pick up what would be an upset on the road against a Laconia team looking to rebound from a 55-6 loss last week against St. Marys.

Kickoff will be on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in Rosendale.
