WIS 54/73 to close in Port Edwards July 6-11

MADISON – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation North Central Region has scheduled a closure of WIS 54/73 in Wood County.

Wisconsin Central Ltd. (CN) will work on the railroad crossing on WIS 54 in Port Edwards, during the closing, which will run July 6-11.

A detour will be implemented for WIS 54 eastbound – WIS 73 southbound through Nekoosa to WIS 13 northbound back to WIS 54. Reverse for WIS 54 traffic; WIS 73 northbound – WIS 73 southbound, in Nekoosa, to WIS 13, WIS 13 northbound to WIS 54 westbound back to WIS 73; and WIS 73 southbound – WIS 54 eastbound, in Wisconsin Rapids, to WIS 13 southbound back to WIS 73.
