Wisconsin Rapids Common Council approves ordinace allowing ATV’s on one city street

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Common Council has approved the ordinance with a 8-3 vote allowing ATV and UTV use on one city street; a section of Wood County Z. After failing to pass a referendum that would have allowed ATV’s and UTV’s on nearly all Wisconsin Rapids city streets in Nov., this new ordinance takes effect immediately as the city will begin to put up signs designating areas and routes that allow ATV and UTV access on Wood County Z.
