Wisconsin Rapids street closure scheduled for gas line work

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A section of 10th Avenue North will be closed to through traffic Tuesday for gas line installation work.

The closure will affect 10th Avenue North between McKinley Street and High Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22, according to a city notice.

We Energies will install a gas main during the 10-hour closure. Local traffic detours will be in place to redirect drivers around the work zone.
