Wood County Land Department hosts plant sale

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wood County Land Conservation Department is offering a variety of species for their 2019 Tree, Shrub and Native Wildflower Sale.

Trees and shrubs offered include: Balsam Fir, Burr Oak, Elderberry, Highbush Cranberry, River Birch, Silver Maple, Swamp White Oak, and White Spruce. Tree and shrub bundles contain 25 trees.

Wisconsin native prairie wildflower seeds include: Pollinator Mixes, Native Honeybee Mixes, Monarch Mixes, Erosion Control Mixes, Land Restoration Mixes, and Grass Waterways Mixes.

Orders are due Jan. 18, with plants arriving in April.
