Testin to chair Health and Human Services committee

MADISON – Healthcare is an issue of key importance to people in central Wisconsin, and it’s one on which they’ll have a strong voice in 2019. In early January, Senator Patrick Testin (Stevens Point) will step into the role as chairman of the five-member Senate committee on Health and Human Services.
“Healthcare is an issue that touches everyone’s life, and I look forward to continuing to advocate for my constituents in my new role as chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Human Services,” said Senator Testin.
Last session, Senator Testin chaired the Workforce Development, Military Affairs, and Senior Issues committee. During his time as chair, Testin developed legislation to grow Wisconsin’s workforce by attracting new talent and by giving current residents greater access to resources that would help them enter the job market.
