Identity Theft
On March 10 at 9:56 a.m., a Nekoosa woman reported that she had received a phone bill in the mail under her maiden name that she did not order. The woman did not know who fraudulently made the purchase.
Puppy Scam
On March 10 at 8:50 a.m., a Vesper female reported that she had sent money to an unidentified individual in Texas in exchange for a puppy but that she had not received the puppy yet.
March 14, 2019
Male Acting Strangely
On March 14 at 2:08 a.m., it was reported by a Port Edwards woman that a male subject was banging and pounding on her door. The woman stated that the male was her next door neighbor and had left his truck running with the car door open in order to bang on her door as well as neighbors’ doors. The woman reported that the man was wearing a black jacket, a black hat, and black pants.
March 15, 2019
Flooding
On March 15 at 8 a.m., a male Marshfield resident reported that there was water flooding in his residence and that it was so deep that it was running out the front door. The complainant stated that his wife’s son and daughter-in-law were living there and that he did not know how the residence became flooded.
Train Block
On March 15 at 1:08 p.m., it was reported that a train was blocking the road. The complainant stated that the train could not move due to a mechanical issue and that they were currently unsure of how long the repair would take.
March 18, 2019
Angry Resident
On March 18 at 6:27 p.m., an employee of a Grand Rapids assisted living home reported that one of the residents had attacked a staff member, leaving the victim scraped up and bleeding from their face and neck. The complainant stated that an ambulance was not necessary, that the resident had no weapons and that the two had been separated.
