For the City Times

CENTRAL WISCONSIN – With concern for the health of Medicare beneficiaries during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has cancelled its 17 remaining Medicare seminars in seven locations throughout Wisconsin in March.

The seminars had been scheduled to provide important information about Medicare and Security’s Medicare plan options for individuals who will soon turn 65 years of age or have become eligible for Medicare for other reasons. While individuals who had preregistered for a seminar have been notified, many in attendance sign up at the events. Cancellation notices are being posted at the seminar locations.

In lieu of attending a seminar, individuals who would like to get information about Medicare and Medicare plan options are encouraged to call Security’s Sales Department at 720-572-1769, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or visit www.securityhealth.org/Medicare20.
