Adams County has first COVID-related death

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Adams County Health and Human Services – Division of Public Health has confirmed the first death related to COVID-19 in Adams County.
“The individual was previously hospitalized and all contacts that the patient had been in contact with have been properly quarantined or isolated if needed,” a department release said.
“This is a sad day for Adams County but also an important reminder to our community to continue to work together to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and prevent further deaths from occurring,” said Adams County Health Officer Leah Eckstein.
