Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Baseball team mascot Rosco P. Rafter recently visited Aspirus Riverview Family Birthplace to meet his team’s newest “fans for life.”
Each year, the Rafters present season tickets for life to babies born at Aspirus Riverview Hospital on their opening day, this year May 29.
From left, Madelyn Georgianne Marshall, daughter of Draye and Bekah Marshall of Port Edwards, was born at 5:21 p.m., measuring 20 inches long and weighing in at seven pounds, 14 ounces. At right, Eric Emmanuel Ortiz, son of Yuliana Alverez and Eric Ortiz of Marshfield, was born at 11:48 a.m., measuring 19 inches and weighing seven pounds, one ounce.
Congratulations to this year’s fans for life and their parents.
