MARSHFIELD – In a move set to enhance local financial services, Park City Credit Union has officially merged with Wood County Employees Credit Union (WCECU), expanding its operations into Wood and Portage counties.
The merger brings new financial tools, digital services and branch access to WCECU members, while maintaining the personalized service they’ve come to expect, officials said in a news release. They added that the transition will be seamless and beneficial for current and future members alike.
“This merger is a natural fit for both organizations,” said Val Mindak, president and CEO of Park City Credit Union. “We share a deep commitment to our members and the communities we serve. By joining forces, we’re not only expanding our reach, but also strengthening our ability to deliver exceptional value and personalized service to more people in Wood County.”
Park City Credit Union, which already serves more than 24,000 members across northern and central Wisconsin, adds a significant footprint in Marshfield and surrounding communities through the merger. Members of the former WCECU will gain access to a wider range of financial products, updated digital banking tools and an expanded network of branches and ATMs.
