Snow Emergency in effect for Wisconsin Rapids

A snow emergency has been declared for the city of Wisconsin Rapids effective from Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 10:00 a.m. through Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Chief of Police Kurt Heuer has issued a snow emergency for the city of Wisconsin Rapids earlier today. Under local ordinances, no parking will be permitted on city streets from Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday 6:00 p.m.
Vehicles that are stopped, parked, or idling on any street could inhibit snow removal, and will be subject to being towed and ticketed.
