Battery: At 10:37 a.m. a call was placed to the 2800 block of 8th St. South regarding an altercation between two residents. The complainant stated that his face was grabbed and verbal threats were made against him. Officers would eventually catch up to the alleged assailant, and the incident has been closed.
The Rent is Too High: At 1:28 p.m. a call was placed by a resident living on the 1300 block of 21st Ave. South in a complaint that his roommate was yelling and screaming at him, as well as making threats. This was due, allegedly because the complainant hasn’t paid rent, yet. Dispatch tried to call the complainant back twice with no answer, and this incident has been closed.
Suspicious Resident: At 5:55 p.m. a call was placed from a resident regarding a suspicious man standing “kind of” in the road at the corner of Carey St. and 18th Ave. South. The male had on a dark camo jacket, a grey hoodie and was carrying a white bag. There was no follow up and this incident has been closed.
Texting Threats: At 7:09 p.m. a call was placed to dispatch by a resident from the 1400 block of 21st Ave. South in complaints of receiving threatening texts. The complainant was actually texting the suspect in this case, and dispatch had to inform the complainant to stop texting the individual that was allegedly threatening her. This incident is closed.
