Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 16

Cat-tastrophe: At 7:38 p.m. a call was made from the 1200 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a theft. A man reported that he was allegedly drugged, and that they drugged his cat, too. After the complainant went to the hospital, he reported that his cat had been stolen, along with cat food and cat litter.

Racing Truck: At 10:46 a.m. a call was placed from the 2100 block of High St. regarding a safety complaint. The complainant stated that inn the late hours of the night, a truck is racing up and down the road. A record was made of the call.

Key Thief: At 12:29 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 700 block of 8th St. South regarding a man’s estranged wife. She had been reportedly coming into the business and taking keys. This is a civil matter and a record was made of the call.

Prowler Alert: At 9:18 p.m. a call was made from the 4600 block of 8th St. South regarding a potential prowler. A man was shining a flashlight and walking down the fire lane. After an officer caught up with the man, he stated that he was simply walking home.
