Prairie Sage Honored by Chamber
By Joe Bachman
Home goods store Prairie Sage was honored by the Wisconsin Rapids Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Opened in 2002, Prairie Sage has been owned and operated by Laurie Fleuette.
“I try to not have many duplicates of things and I turn over product pretty regularly,” said Fleuette. “We get new products at least every week, if not two or three times a week — we like to keep it fresh.”
Fleuette operated the store for the first 16 months on her own, but has since hired help that has been around for over a decade. Prairie Sage offers a unique assortment of home decor, gifts, and even coffee.
You can visit Prairie Sage at 1810 7th S. South in Wisconsin Rapids.
