Below is a listing of upcoming events in which local veterans will be taking part of. Residents are always encouraged to participate with them, and show their support.
Friday May 20 — 4:30 pm Fund Raiser at Elks Club with J Squared Catering providing the food, 15% goes to VFW.
Saturday May 21 — Vietnam Veterans of America Brat Fry 10:00 am to 2:00 pm West Grand IGA
Monday May 23 — Honor Flight Fund Raiser at Culver’s
Monday May 23 — Blood Drive At VFW Post 11:30 am to 4:30 PM
Wednesday May 25 — Heroes Café with Quilts of Valor presentation.
Saturday May 28 — 9:00 am placing flags at local cemeteries
Monday May 30 — Memorial Day Ceremonies at Nekoosa (9:00 am), Port Edwards (10:00 am), and Wisconsin Rapids (11:00 am).
Monday June 6 — Milwaukee Brewer TV Broadcaster Bill Schroeder signing his book “If these Walls Could Talk” 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at VFW Post 2534
