Below is a listing of events for Memorial Day Weekend.
Sunday, May 29
Memorial Day Ceremony — 9:45 a.m.
A ceremony will be held at the All Souls Cemetery Grounds in the Village of Rudolph. This memorial is sponsored by the Elmer F Blonien Post 485, the American Legion with participation by the local Boy, Cub, Girl & Brownie Scouts. Guest speaker will be Pastor Kenneth Hanson and music by the Assumption High School Band.

Memorial Day Service — 9:30 a.m.
Service honoring the veterans to held, followed by dinner. The VFW will organize a 21 gun salute. There will be a free-will offering with all money going towards buying Christmas gifts for Veterans at King Veterans home.
This event is at St. John Lutheran Church located at 8020 South Park Rd. in Wisconsin Rapids. (Kellner)

Memorial Day Service – 10:00 a.m.
Ceremony to be held at the Port Edwards Cemetery. The John Edwards High School Band will perform.

Ho-Chunk Flag Raising Ceremony – 9:00 a.m.
Ceremony to be held at Ho-Chunk casino, located ta 949 County G in Nekoosa.

2016 Memorial Day Ceremony — 11:00 a.m.
This ceremony is hosted by the DAV Chapter 55 of Wisconsin Rapids to honor all fallen veterans who lost their lives in service to their country. This event is located at Forest Hill Cemetery located at 631 Spring St. in Wisconsin Rapids.
