The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce welcomed Cranberry Court Assisted Living into their membership on Tuesday.

Cranberry Court offers “5-star dining”, beauty salons, luxury transportation services, a library, recreational activities, and much more. The assisted living community has been in the Wisconsin Rapids area since September of 2015.

“We tend to do a higher level of care here,” said Executive Director Tracey Gunn. “It’s been a challenge, but it’s been enlightening.”

The nursing home is a part of The Ensign Group, headquartered in Mission Viejo, Cal. The company has 17 different locations throughout Wisconsin, including Stevens Point and Wausau.

“It’s been a big culture shock for a lot of us here that aren’t from Wisconsin” said Gunn, who moved here from Colorado to run the 40-unit facility.

Cranberry Courts Assisted Living is located at 2230 14th St. South.
