Tis’ the season for giving, and DaVita Dialysis did just that.
A check for $1,000 dollars was awarded to the South Wood County Humane Society last week, a donation that will ensure the care of many pets in the area. DaVita included the SWCHS as a part of their ‘DaVita Way of Giving’ Program.
“DaVita is a community first and a company second,” said DaVita Representative Mae Brooks. “We aim to find ways in which we can give back and support the community that surrounds us.”
DaVita is a leading provider of kidney care in the United States, as well as the Wisconsin Rapids area. Their offices are located at 1041B Hill St. in Wisconsin Rapids.
“We are pleased to give back to the Humane Society this year with the ‘DaVita Way of Giving’ program,” said Brooks. “We recognize the dedication to the community that the Humane Society has and simply wanted to recognize and honor that dedication.”
