By Joe Bachman
Central Home Improvements Inc. celebrated new ownership with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday afternoon.
New owners Bob & Julie Polzin welcomed members from the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, Mid-State Technical College, Edward Jones, and Mayor Zach Vruwink for the ceremony. Central Home Improvements Inc. have been in the area since 1942.
“We would like to thank you all for coming and sharing our new chapter with the purchase of Central Home Improvements,” said Bob Polzin. “I would also like to thank my family — without the support of family, this wouldn’t have come to fruition.”
The contractor has already hired three new full-time employees, and three seasonal associates. They are expected to hit 22 associates at the company’s prime.
“Rest assure that our community will continue to receive quality customer service and exceptional craftsmanship from our dedicated associates.” said Bob Polzin.
Central Home Improvements specializes in roofing, doors, windows, decks, gutters, insulation, siding, and remodeling. According to Julie Polzin, the reason the company has maintained continued success is due to their employees.
“They’re what’s going to keep us going, and drive the business,” said Julie Polzin. “We just want to make sure that they know how much we respect them.”
Central Home Improvements Inc. is located at 1630 26th St. North.
