Here is a special Memorial Day Weekend edition of Rapid Fire:

Friday, May 26
Wood County Stone Dedication Ceremony — 11:00 a.m.
-Held in front of the Wood County Courthouse, the stone dedication ceremony will add Michael Lockman to the memorial. This event is located at 400 Market St.

Saturday, May 27
Law Enforcement Torch Run T-Shirt Sale — 10:00 a.m.
-Law enforcement will be selling shirts for the annual Special Olympics Torch Run for this year. This fundraiser takes place outside of Walmart, located at 4331 8th St. South.

Sunday, May 28
American Legion’s Elmer F. Blonien Post 485 Memorial Day Ceremony — 9:45 a.m.
-Held at St. Phillip Catholic Church, the ceremony will see music by Assumption High School/Middle School bands, as well as participation from local area scouts. The ceremony will be held at 6957 Grotto Ave. in Rudolph.

Sunday, May 28
8th Annnual Camelot on the Lake Birthday Bash — 1:00 p.m.
-Join a day of live music, food, and fun as Camelot on the Lake hosts their ‘8th Birthday Bash’ — Music by Southbound. Camelot on the Lake is located at 298 Leisure Ln. in Nekoosa.

Monday, May 29
VFW Post 2534 Memorial Day Ceremony — 11:00 a.m.
-Buckley Baldwin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2534 will hold their Memorial Day ceremony Monday afternoon at the Forest Hill Cemetery mausoleum. There will be a brat fry following the event. Forest Hill Cemetery is located at 631 Spring St.
