June 23

Donut Thief: At 8:03 a.m. a report was made from a gas station on 17th Ave. South regarding the theft of three boxes of donuts.

Fountain Vandal: At 4:55 p.m. a call was made from the 1500 block of Chestnut St. to report that someone had cut the wires to their fountain.

Stranger Things: At 10:52 a.m. a call was placed from a business on the 4300 block of 8th St. South concerning a man scratching at the walls and acting strange.

No. of Accidents Reported: 4
No. of Fireworks Complaints: 3

June 24

Banjo Beggar: At 11:20 a.m. a call was made from a business on the 4300 block of 8th St. South to report a man, wearing leather pants and a vest with no shirt, playing a banjo outside of the store and asking for money.

Tickle Monster: At 12:14 a.m. a call was made from the 1600 block of W. Grand Ave. to report that they heard a child screaming nearby. Police would find that the screaming was due to a mother ticking her 3-year-old.

Pole Wielder: A call was placed to dispatch late in the evening from the 800 block of 10th Ave. South to report that a man came at her son with a pole.

No. of Drug-Related Complaints: 3

June 25

Parking Master: A call was made from a business on the 1000 block of W. Grand Ave. to report that a vehicle had parked sideways in the parking lot.

Gunshots: At 9:00 p.m. a report of heard gunshots was made from the area of Brickyard Rd. and Bonow Ave.

Shadow Prowler: At 12:31 a.m. a report was made from the 300 block of 10th Ave. North regarding a man who heard movement in his downstairs home, and saw a shadow go past his door when investigating. Nobody was ever found to be on the property.
