WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Mid-State Technical College is offering a new way to get to know the College at Meet Me @ Mid-State campus tour and application events throughout the summer.

Participants will have a chance to explore Mid-State with a tour of one of its campuses, apply to the College – a savings of $30 – and sign up for a STAR advising and registration session. Anyone interested in attending can show up to a Mid-State campus at 3:00, 4:00 or 5:00 PM any Wednesday, June 28 to Aug. 16.

Meet Me @ Mid-State events are part of the College’s greater efforts to redesign its enrollment process and student services to more quickly connect students with the resources they need to be successful.

“We’ve been seeing an increase in requests for information about our programs and facilities prior to applying,” said Mid-State dean of Enrollment, Kerry Froehlich-Mueller. “It’s always easier when you feel connected to something before you jump into it, and offering weekly tours is the best way to show that we’re listening and here to provide the personalized attention students need to achieve their goals.”

There is no need to sign up in advance for Meet Me @Mid-State events. All times are available at each of Mid-State’s campuses in Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids. For more information, visit www.mstc.edu/meetme or contact the Student Services & Information Center at 888.575.MSTC.
