June 4
Unruly patient
At 8:09 p.m., an employee at a medical facility in Wisconsin Rapids stated that a patient was creating a disturbance as he was unhappy with his care and the man was videotaping his visit. The 41-year-old patient stated he was drugged and wouldn’t give the nurse his personal information. The patient was given paperwork to fill out from the police officer but declined.
June 5
That’s not how trades work
At 7:41 p.m.; A 21-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man complained that a 27-year-old woman was harassing him regarding a phone that was traded for tattoo work. The 27-year-old woman wants the phone back after the tattoo deal had been done. Police spoke with both parties and gave them suggestions on how to work this out.
Lost and found after dark
At 10:50 p.m., a 35-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man called police after noticing two people walking up and down his street with flashlights. They appeared to be looking in people’s houses and yards. Police spoke with the men who stated they had lost their drone and were searching for it.
June 6
Woman makes restitution for man’s theft
At 9:18 p.m., an employee of a Wisconsin Rapids gas station reported the theft of beer by a man between 8:30 – 8:40 p.m. An unidentified female came in around 9:15 p.m. and gave $2 to the employee for the beer. Investigation is ongoing.
June 10
Lawn mulch stolen
At 10:54 a.m., a 38-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman called police to report that a couple of bags of lawn mulch were stolen from her neighbor’s driveway. She saw the people doing it and told them to put it back; however, they screamed obscenities at her and drove off. Police found the car and will be returning the items to the owner.
Man attacked in hospital bed
At 9:18 p.m., a 32-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man reported that he was attacked by his girlfriend, a 43-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman while he was in his hospital bed. The woman was found and taken to the jail.
