WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Area Middle School (WRAMS) was presented with $500 at the end of the 2017-18 school year after student, Ben Mancl, snagged second place in an ice-fishing contest.
Ben Mancl won second place in the small fish category with a 10-3/4 inch crappie during a February ice fishing contest sponsored by the Lake Holcombe Lions Club.
Students who registered a fish had a chance to win money for their school, and Ben received $500 for WRAMS.
