THIENSVILLE — Senator Patrick Testin was recently recognized for his support of legislation that improved both the access to and the quality of Wisconsin health care. The Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP), which represents more than 3,000 family physicians, acknowledged the senator by naming him a “Friend of Family Medicine.”
“I’m honored to be a Friend of Family Medicine, and I’m excited to build on what we’ve accomplished this past session,” said Sen. Testin. “Last year I was pleased to see legislation I authored to bolster the rural health care workforce adopted in the state budget. I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue to improve access to care and the range of care options available.”
