Rapids chamber to host career exploration event

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce will host Inspire Central Wisconsin on Nov. 6.
Inspire Central Wisconsin is a career exploration tool that connects local sixth to 12th grade students with employers and careers in their area. Through Inspire students are able to learn about potential career paths and receive first-hand knowledge from people in their community. Students can ask questions of employees and companies to learn more about the world of work and make informed decisions for their future. Inspire also allows for student-led requests for job shadows, company tours, informational interviews, and other career-based activities.
Inspire training will be held in Wisconsin Rapids on Nov. 6, 8-10 a.m. at Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.
