WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Heart O’ Wisconsin Genealogical Society (HOWGS) will host “Five Steps to Get Started Writing Your Family Story” presented by HOWGS member Mary Moss.

Do you have piles of old documents, pedigree charts, and family facts you want to share with your family and others? A written family story can be much more interesting to other family members than raw genealogical data, while still incorporating all the details that you have painstakingly gathered over the years; often getting started is the hardest part.

Mary will offer some tips to get started writing your family history.

The program will be held Nov. 17 at 9:30 a.m. in the All Purpose Room at McMillan Library, 490 E. Grand Ave., Wisconsin Rapids.
