CWSF offering two scholarships

MARSHFIELD – The Central Wisconsin State Fair (CWSF) is offering two scholarships for graduates going on to school this fall.
A $1,000 scholarship is available to high school graduates enrolled in an institute of higher learning for the Fall 2019 semester. This scholarship is made available through the Gass family children in memory of their parents William and Esther Gass, long-time food vendors.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must have exhibited at the Central Wisconsin State Junior Fair in 2018 and exhibited a minimum of two years. Applicants must also be an active member of their 4-H, FFA, or other youth organization. Recipients will be required to furnish proof of enrollment in an institute of higher learning before receiving their scholarship.
CWSF is also offering a Junior Fair Scholarship in the amount of $250 to 2019 high school graduates who are planning to attend an institution of higher learning this fall.
Applicants must have participated in the Central Wisconsin Junior Fair as an exhibitor for a minimum of two years with one of those years being 2018.
