WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin DMV Customer Service Center in Wisconsin Rapids will be closed on July 23 due to a power outage caused by recent storms.

To serve customers in this area, DMV will open the Marshfield DMV on July 23 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.  The Marshfield location is normally only open on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Other north central Wisconsin DMV Customer Service Centers with hours on Tuesday include:

Stevens Point and Wausau will be open 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Wautoma, Mauston and Neillsville will be open 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

DMV customers can use the DMV locator to check hours and wait times (wisconsindmv.gov/centers).

Customers are encouraged to go online (wisconsindmv.gov) for vehicle related services such as renewing license plates, titling a vehicle, transferring a vehicle, changing address, and more.

Customers wanting to renew their driver license can save time by using the Driver License Guide (wisconsindmv.gov/DLGuide) to fill in forms, submit them electronically, and print out a checklist of the paperwork needed to bring to the DMV.
