WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Lincoln High School senior Wyler Lubeck has been named as a finalist in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. Lubeck is among just 15,000 students nationwide selected for this honor.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships.

High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test–a test which serves as an initial screening of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year. To be considered for a National Merit Scholarship, semifinalists must advance to finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standards.

National Merit Scholarship winners of 2020 will be announced beginning in April.
