WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Northwestern Great Lakes Girl Scout Council Central Region is hosting free virtual programming over the next few weeks for girls in grades 4K-12.
“(They) do not have to be a Girl Scout to participate,” said Camerron Wettern, membership engagement coordinator of the Central Region.
“You can sign up for one or all six sessions. If someone has more than one daughter they will be able to attend different sessions as they are all at different times. Each week is a different 30 minute virtual activity: health/wellness, STEM, outdoors, culture/world travel, being eco friendly and celebrating with games.”
“Girl Power Half Hour” runs through the week of May 25, with girls in 4K participating Tuesdays at 4 p.m. at gsnw.gl/gphh4k; K-1, Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. at gsnw.gl/gphhk1; 2-3, Wednesdays at 4 p.m. at gsnw.gl/gphh23; 4-5, Thursdays at 4 p.m. at gsnw.gl/gphh45; and 6-12, Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. at gsnw.gl/gphh612.
“This is organized by Girl Scouts to help keep the girls in our communities across Wisconsin engaged and having fun while at home,” added Wettern.
